Intrinsic tower cases

In August 1997, Intrinsic Computer Systems became the fourth company to be awarded an Amiga licence. Their 'Amigo PC' series were a range of A1200-based tower systems supplied in several configurations. Each system consists of a standard A1200 motherboard fitted into a specially designed tower case, 2MB Chip RAM, , 2-button mouse, and internal power supply.

Processor: 68020 14.3MHz CPU
Memory: 2MB Chip RAM
Drives: 880K disk drive
Case design: ICS with internal power supply
Peripherals: 2 button mouse

 

Cyclone

Motherboard: A1200
Processor:

68030 50MHz accelerator

Memory: 2MB Chip RAM, 16/32MB Fast RAM.
Drives: 880K disk drive
Case design: ICS with internal power supply
Peripherals: 2 button mouse

 

Tornado

Motherboard: A1200
Processor:

68060 50MHz accelerator

Memory: 2MB Chip RAM, 16/32MB Fast RAM.
Drives: 880K disk drive
Case design: ICS with internal power supply
Peripherals: 2 button mouse

 

The high-end system. This was the only machine to feature an indication of the cost.

Blizzard PPC 603e 200MHz & 040 25Mhz accelerator

Memory: 2MB Chip RAM, 32MB Fast RAM.
Display: BlizzardVision & monitor
Drives: 880K disk drive, 2GB hard disk & CD-ROM (optional)
Case design: ICS with internal power supply
Peripherals: 2 button mouse
Price on release: £1,699.99
