Extreme AmigaOne systems
Seller: Extreme Computing
Announced: December 2002 |
Soonafter the official launch of Eyetech's AmigaOne
motherboard several Amiga dealers announced custom systems for the geographical
region that they operated within. These formed part of the 'Early Bird' range
- a term promoted by Alan Redhouse (Eyetech) to distinguish the initial release
of AmigaOne boards that were available before AmigaOS4.0 was launched. These
were officially revealed on Amiga Mall - Amiga's official web store - but disappeared
a few days later. The majority of the ATX case designs used are indistinguishable
from existing PC units, but several units cut a more dramatic appearance.
