Commodore C-116

-

The cheapest version of the early 1980's Commodore line-up. The C116 was essentially a cut down version of the C16, using a cheap case and keyboard that made the Spectrum 16k look professional. Sadly i t did not fill any particular market: the C16 plus 4 dominated business, while the C64 was the beginners dream. It's only success was limited to the German market when system prices dropped considerably. However, by this point Commodore had moved on to more successful territory.
