HiQ Alpha System
HiQ's first step towards porting the AmigaOS to is to sell a
range of Alpha-based systems to existing and past Amiga users.
Their first system, announced in March 1998, consists of an:
- Alpha 21164 CPU, running at 533MHz.
- Samsung 21164LX motherboard.
- 64Mb DRAM.
- Seven bay tower case.
- Diamond FireGL 1000 graphics card with 8Mb onboard RAM.
- 2.1Gb UDMA hard drive
- 24x CD-ROM drive
- 16-bit sound card
- Keyboard
- HD floppy drive
- Mouse
