Comments:
In the final issue, David Stroud & Co. introduce digital
magazine as part of the NextGen section, defining the layout
and coverage of the new magazine. The four page feature on the
Amiga DE suggests that Amiga will play a small role in this
market, but it will only be mentioned if there is something
to announce.
As a point of historical significance, the closure of Amiga
Active ended the newsstand distribution of UK Amiga magazines
after almost 14 years. For the first time since December 1987
it is not possible to purchase an Amiga-orientated magazine
from the newsagent.
Quote of the month:
"After all this time, your favourite (we would hope) Amiga
magazine is just changing its name with barely a month's notice.
How are you, a loyal reader of this fine tome, going to cope?"
- David Stroud dispels fears that digital will ignore the Amiga.
