Does the AmigaOS have a scripting language?
The standard AmigaOS scripting language is ARexx, an extension
of the original Rexx language. This has been standard in the
AmigaOS since version 2 and has become the standard
task-communication language, allowing a range of tasks to be
performed automatically. For example, one person wrote an ARexx
script that told the Amiga in the office to dial him at home when
it had finished rendering a set of images. Most modern applications
support an ARexx port as standard.
