How much of the AmigaOS is portable?
The current AmigaOS was programmed in assembler and is heavily
reliant on the 68k processor and its chipset. At present this makes
it quite difficult to port although it is being worked on. The next
generation of AmigaOS will be a fresh break away from current
versions, and will be available for a wide range of processors.
