It really depends what type of Amiga you have. If it is an A600
or A1200 that has their own video output then you can simply
connect the Amiga RF output to your video aerial and record the
Amiga display.
If you have another Amiga you will need a modulator to connect
it to the TV display. This will provide the RF output required.
If you want to do more than simply record the Amigas picture
onto a video such as overlaying graphics and titles over a video
display you will need to buy a genlock. These can vary in price
from £50 to £500 depending on the type that you require.
Unless you need a specific task that you know certain models cannot
do I suggest you go for the cheaper one). The genlock will require
one end to be plugged into the Amiga's RGB port with the other end
fitting in the video output port (this is different from the RF
connection). You will also need a second video to view and record
the effects on. Good luck!
