What niche markets do other systems fill?
For people who do not know a niche market is a certain area that
a particular system is dominant in. This is advantageous to the
particular platform as it means even if there are more powerful
computers available, the people in that niche will upgrade to the
system they are used too. The niche list below is based upon a
Usenet discussion at the beginning of 1998.
