Workbench 3.3?

Developer: Viscorp
Year of Announcement: 1996

This information is based upon a Viscorp meeting at the Toulouse show in Germany on May 19th, 1996. Bill Buck announced that following the acquisition of Amiga Technologies they would release a new version of the Amiga operating system by the end of the year. Unsurprisingly it was based around networking and internet transfer, providing TCP/IP, PPP, SLIP, FTP, SMTP, and probably a number of other protocols. They also claimed the operating system would be developed for Digital Alpha processors rather than the PowerPC favoured by the Amiga community.
