Linux/APUS
Availability: Available now!
Linux is the darling of obsolete or unpopular machines. Thanks to
the freely available source code of the OS, there are versions
available for the C64, BBC Micro, Atari ST, Macintosh, Amiga 68k,
and now Amiga PPC. Linux/APUS is a port of the LinuxPPC project,
providing binary compatibility with other PPC Linux ports currently
available & includes applications precompiled for Linux/PPC.

The impending release of Fusion PPC will allow Amiga owners to
emulate their Macintosh equivalent. This will allow the use of

Availability: The OS is been available as a beta
version
MorphOS is the most popular Amiga PPC operating system available.
It is also the only Amiga-native OS that combines the look and feel
of AmigaOS, with a clean PPC-native API. The OS is compatible with
PowerUP binaries, 68k & WarpOS emulation are under continuous

PowerOS is an Amiga-native operating system currently in
development. It promises compatibility with Amiga titles through
the implementation of an Amiga 68k and WarpOS PPC emulator. It has
not been seen by anyone outside the development team, it could

QNX for PowerUP
Availability: Never
In 1999 QSSL and Phase5 announced a strategic partnership aimed at
developing an Amiga G4 board and releasing the Neutrino OS for the
Amiga. After Phase5's liquidation QSSL cancelled the Amiga port.
